Our “Di” today wanted some fresh summer air so our loving staff brought her out to the Hospice Home Courtyard. Her loved ones, family, and friends gathered around telling stories and laughing with her. Di’s long-time friend Sharon told stories about how they’d been buddies since they were eleven, riding their bikes up to the falls and hitchhiking out to Alcova. They never lost touch and in 2014 headed out on an epic road trip. When we remarked that sounded a bit like “Thelma and Louise”, Sharon said her friend was “Dirty Di”, to which Diane replied, “Shady Sharon.”
