Why Working at CWHT is Different?
Why Working at CWHT is Different?

It truly feels like a community organization and not a "company." The differences in those cultures are innumerable, but boil down to being TRULY patient-first.

April's Story
April's Story

This has probably been the most altruistic job I've ever had; it makes me feel like I'm doing something. Some of my best memories are the more difficult patients, they've taken the most effort, the most creativity to talk to. I remember them the most for all the effort and knowing that I gave him a good death with dignity and being there for the family.

I’m working on sacred ground. I’m invited into the most sacred time of one’s life to offer care, and I feel privileged to do so. Blessed.

Kimberlee's Story

The best part about being a hospice CNA is knowing I am giving my patients the best care and companionship I possibly can in their end-of-life journey. Seeing the smiles on my patients’ faces after I get them showered and cleaned up for the day…I truly love my job.

I love the autonomy as a nurse and being allowed to use my nursing judgment. The teamwork is phenomenal. The holistic approach to the care of our patients and our patients in general. they are on a different path.

Barb's Story
Barb's Story

I love working here because being able to make someone smile or make them comfortable in the last days of their life has been a very rewarding experience. It is sad sometimes but the hardest part I think is watching a family lose someone they love. I love being able to console them and let them know that everything will be ok. Our patients and their families have truly blessed our lives. The people I work with are phenomenal! We are focused on patient care and in my opinion we have the most compassionate caring people on the planet. We have truly become a family. I could not see myself working anywhere else.
