An exceptional meal can bring people together. On Friday, September 12, 2026, Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions invites guests to A Night Well Spent, an evening where exceptional food, breathtaking views, and meaningful purpose come together at Hogadon Basin Lodge.
This is an evening unlike the expected, not your traditional fundraising gala, but an experience designed for guests to relax, indulge, and enjoy the company around them.
The evening begins with complimentary private car service to and from Hogadon Basin Lodge, allowing guests to relax before they even arrive. From there, the experience unfolds with a top-shelf cocktail hour, thoughtful hospitality, live music, wine pairings with each course, and a five-course dining experience set against the panoramic views of Casper Mountain.
Unlike many fundraising events, the focus of A Night Well Spent is simply the experience itself. Guests are invited to relax, savor an exceptional evening, and enjoy meaningful conversation while every thoughtfully planned detail unfolds around them.
Leave your wallet at home. Your reservation is your contribution, supporting exceptional, compassionate end-of-life care for families throughout our community.
“A Night Well Spent is designed to give our guests an unforgettable experience while making a meaningful difference for families in our community,” says Rachel of Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions. “Every reservation helps ensure individuals and families can receive hospice care regardless of their ability to pay. Together, we’re providing comfort, dignity, and peace when they’re needed most.”
A Culinary Journey to Remember
At the heart of the evening is a five-course menu created by Chef Matt Sissman, a Casper native and graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
With more than 25 years of culinary experience, Chef Matt has built a career that spans acclaimed restaurants across the country and even the kitchens of McMurdo Station in Antarctica, where he cooked for NASA personnel. His approach blends refined technique with carefully sourced ingredients, creating dishes as memorable as the setting itself.
Each course is thoughtfully paired with wine and carefully crafted to surprise, delight, and create an evening unlike the expected.
