My father, Cecil Brasiel, was placed in your care on January 27, 2025, and passed on January 30th, 2025. The amount of care that was provided and the nature in which it was given will forever be held close to my heart, as I know you made him very comfortable; he encountered no stress and was able to rest easily in his final days/hours. Not being present in his room was difficult, but I felt at ease knowing he was properly cared for.

Nurse Kelly gave me an update on him and his condition at the time of placement. She was very sweet and empathetic to our situation. I lived out of state, so I was completely reliant on your facilities updates as to my father’s condition.

Kelly gave me the final update a few hours prior to his death. I thank nurse Kelly for her patience and understanding during our most difficult time. It was the first parent we had lost.

After his passing, I spoke with Nurse Practitioner Tracy, who answered all of my questions about his cause of death. She took her time to explain everything, and as it turns out, she remembered him from years past by his musical stage name, Robbie Daniels. It was cool to learn and know he had a virtual friend properly escort him out of this world.

The Veteran Volunteers came and performed a ceremony, as my dad was in the Air Force. He could barely speak or open his eyes, but when they were talking to him, he opened his eyes slightly and had a small grin. I believe he deserved such an honor, and I am so very thankful he experienced that.

I received your Spring 2025 newsletter in the mail. I instantly felt like I was a part of your hospice family, even living out of state. I can’t thank Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions and your staff enough for their care, compassion, professionalism, and empathy when dealing with my father.

When it is the end of someone’s life, you make it comforting. When it is monumental in the life of their descendants, you make it tolerable.
